Equi-Trek opts for Titan Spray Booth in Sheffield, South Yorkshire
UK’s leading manufacturer and Bodyshop equipment supplier Todd Engineering, has completed the installation of a Titan booth for Equi-Trek in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
“It is a fantastic example of our Titan booth, this booth is complete with drive-through fully insulated roller shutter doors and runs on a Biomass heating system,” a Todd Engineering official said.
The Titan Series Spray Booth is designed to fulfil the requirements for the refinishing of large commercial vehicles and other larger bespoke industrial and commercial processes.
The design and layout can be tailored to customer requirements regarding extraction, access doors, plant layout and internal dimensions.
The Titan spray booth has been designed to offer customers total flexibility on the choice of layout.
Concerning extraction; Titan spray booths can be configured as either rear extraction, single/twin side extraction or full downdraught. Internal dimensions can be made to any length, width or height, with various plant positions such as rear, side or roof-mounted options.
The Biomass system fitted for this Spray booth is a first for Todd Engineering, it uses a boiler which burns logs, pellets or chips connected to a hot water system to heat the spray booth.
There are many benefits to using Biomass heating, including it being a low carbon option and a Renewable energy source, which is becoming increasingly popular with larger companies.
