Todd Engineering has undertaken work designing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning various spray booths for most major airlines, aircraft, and aircraft component manufacturers worldwide.

Our aerospace spray booths can be designed to suit any requirement or size, from painting the smallest components right through to a full-size airliner! Our spray booths for the aviation industry are fulfilled to comply with all current health and safety legislation and work to the high standards necessitated to suit the demands of applying a coating within the aerospace sector. Todd Engineering Aerospace spray booths can be combined with energy-saving and production enhancing equipment to deliver the highest quality paint coating at the lowest price per unit.

Todd Engineering offers the most energy-efficient Aerospace Spray Booths on the Market.

Specifically designed for the aerospace industry, each spray booths is bespoke and manufactured according to customer requirements.
Todd's offer total customer flexibility on the choice of layout. In terms of extraction, Todd Engineering spray booths can be configured as either rear extraction, single or twin side extraction or full downdraught extraction.
Internal dimensions can be made to any length, width or height, with various plant positions such as rear, side or roof-mounted options.

LED Lighting is a standard feature in all Todd Engineering Spray booths; this allows for an excellent colour version and optimum spraying environment for even the large spray booths.

These LED lights surpass the very highest standards required in the automotive refinishing sector, creating a superbly lit cabin with high level-light pods. The Pods are angled to reduce glare and shadowing. The state-of-the-art LED lighting system gives illumination levels in excess of +1800 lux through the use of high output LED SMD Chips designed to provide a colour temperature of 5000K @ 90CRI offering unrivalled lighting quality when colour matching. These LED's consume 50% less energy than conventional tubes with an equivalent light output and operate via an external low voltage driver at 36VDC. The lighting is fitted with a hi-tech laser-etched 'Luminit' film, which removes the visual appearance of each individual LED and created a flat panel of light. The light pods are finished with a frameless, toughened glass cover and intumescent seal to separate electronics from the booth atmosphere.

During the spraying cycle, fresh air is drawn from the atmosphere and is heated to the required temperature. It then passes through EU5 ceiling filters into the booth & over the vehicle carrying away paint, over-spray & vapours. The air is extracted via a twin dry filter system and exhausted to the atmosphere. By using recommended filters with regular changes, 99% of pollutants can be captured.

The control panel is fitted with variable speed drives to the Spraybooth control system uses the latest technology available to give the operator intelligent and user-friendly control of all processes.

Simple push-button controls are used for cycle selection and lighting, meaning in most cases, the booth can be controlled with one touch of a button. The intelligent programming of the PLC-based system monitors and adjusts cabin pressure and temperature to suit and displays the current spray booth status on a 3.5" full-colour TFT Touchscreen display. Separate controllers for temperature and cycle time duration are fully adjustable by the operator and indicate set points, current temperature, and remaining process time.

Todd Engineering offers a full range of energy-saving and production enhancing equipment into each Aerospace spray booth. These enhancements can reduce the energy consumption for the spray booth by up to 80% compared to a standard spray booth.

If you're an established business looking to add some new equipment or a new company looking to make your vision a little more affordable, we are able to help with finance options.
