Todd Engineering secures a large project to work alongside MS-RT on a £4 million facility in Dagenham.
MS-RT – the design-led automotive engineering company has announced creating a new £4 million facility at Ford Dagenham, and Todd Engineering is the preferred supplier for spray booth equipment.
MS-RT have placed an order with Todd Engineering for multiple booths for various stages of their process, including a total of four Hercules spray booths with integrated E6 Greentech drying arches and five Olympian style booths for different functions, from priming to polishing.
They also have one Hermes E3 curing booth to help productivity in the workflow.
MS-RT is fully embracing the Greentech gas catalytic technology to maximise efficiency in the Bodyshop.
GreenTech Dryers gas-powered IR drying systems and their excellent safety characteristics heat the substrate faster than other methods. The use of infrared ahead of convection cure also reduces total energy use. Infrared energy heats just the coating and the product surface to the temperature level where convection is effective, reducing cycle time and utility costs.
The E series range offers faster heating times without NOX and other toxic emissions and is significantly more cost-effective than air-drying finishes. In addition to our automotive and industrial curing systems, we offer accessories.
Teamed with the latest energy-saving technology from Todd Engineering, including LED lighting, variable-speed motor drives and modulating gas system control, the new facility will be leading with the most advanced technology.
Todd Engineering is happy to work on such an extensive project that will see more than 120 jobs when the factory is fully operational.
