Todd Engineering has started work on installing multiple spray booths and prep areas for design-led MS-RT
MS-RT have placed an order with Todd Engineering for multiple booths for various stages of their process, including a total of four Hercules spray booths with integrated E6 Greentech drying arches and five Olympian style booths for different functions, from priming to polishing.
They also have one Hermes E3 curing booth to help productivity in the workflow.
MS-RT recently announced they were creating a new £4 million facility at Ford Dagenham, and Todd Engineering is the preferred supplier for spray booth equipment.
MS-RT is fully embracing the Greentech gas catalytic technology to maximise efficiency in the Bodyshop.
GreenTech Dryers gas-powered IR drying systems and their excellent safety characteristics heat the substrate faster than other methods. The use of infrared ahead of convection cure also reduces total energy use. Infrared energy heats just the coating and the product surface to the temperature level where convection is effective, reducing cycle time and utility costs.
