Four Poseidon Spray booths installed for Wrights ARC

Wrights ARC has now been in business for over 40 years, and over these years they have built a very strong reputation in accident repair in Northern Ireland. 

They are now taking the next step in their development by refurbishing multiple sites.

Todd Engineering has been given a chance to kit out one of their four sites with four new Poseidon Spraybooths. These are a high specification, high-performance range of machines designed to fulfil the needs of the most demanding bodyshops with high throughput. The design and layout of these booths have been tailored to customer requirements in terms of access doors, plant layout and internal dimensions.

All four Poseidon Spraybooths are downdraught type, which features a fully filtered floor area. The downdraught design ensures all overspray and dirt is pulled immediately to the floor; this eliminates overspray contaminating other areas of the paintwork and provides a perfect finish.
Each cabin is superbly lit with high-level light pods which are fitted with a hi-tech laser-etched ‘Luminit’ film. This removes the visual appearance of each individual LED and creates a flat panel of light which is distributed and angled to prevent glare and shadowing.
These LED’s also consume 50% less energy than conventional tubes with an equivalent light.
The primary vehicle entry doors are a three-leaf construction that opens in a concertina fashion which saves space on the doors overall opening distance. Three of the four booths have this style of door; the fourth spray booth is adapted to suit the requirements for the refinishing of larger commercial vehicles. On this booth, the main vehicle entry door on this booth is fitted with a fully insulated, 3 phase electrically operated roller shutter door, with a white internal/external powder-coated finish.
The Spraybooth control system in each booth uses the latest technology available to give the operator intelligent and user-friendly control of all processes. Simple push-button controls are used for cycle selection and lighting, meaning in most cases, the booth can be controlled with one touch of a button.
Wrights Accident Repair Centres are pleased with the outcome of these booths, and they will soon be put into action when the Bodyshop reopens, ready to carry out repair work to the high standards expected from the Wrights group.
